Men don't know how to be in a relationship
If you follow my blog at all, or if you know me at all, you know I go on tangent or just let myself go on and on. Well this might turn into that blog.
I have touched many times on the topic of men. Well, I'm going to again. As a disclaimer, I do not think all men suck. I actually have a lot of men in my life who actually are awesome, but they probably would still agree that they are idiots a lot of the time. Maybe if they read this they would be like...oh she's right.
I have dated a few men, I have been on dating apps which has allowed me to for "relationships" (or whatever you want to call them), I have had quite a few ex-boyfriends "come back" and "regret" ending the relationship (not that we need to relive that), have talked to my guy friends about relationships, etc.
Now, I am not dumb. I know guys get hurt too. I am probably biased because I am female and I have seen more females get hurt than men, or we are just better at talking about it, but it seems men do most of the hurting than women. Fine--you can get mad at me. There aren't any facts, this is just what I've experienced.
Men are closed off. Woman are the ones that always have to be vulnerable, and open up. If we don't we are a bitch, or something along those lines.
One thing I continue to get frustrated with is that men just seem to give up. Or think that a relationship is 'too much' work. They get comfortable with where they are at. Hanging with their friends, having no one to 'keep in mind' when making plans. Lets see, what else have I heard or seen. Oh, one of my favorites 'you deserve better than me'. Oh my god..that's the best. First of all, call it what it is, you either aren't interested or you are just messed up. But damn right, I do deserve better than you.
I truly believe that men don't see the value of a woman. Like we are a nuisance. Which is obviously crap. A man's role is to be there for woman and to appreciate there beauty. To protect and support their dreams and wishes.
OH MY GOSH!!!!! I totally remember what I was thinking about when I originally started this blog. So, I have had multiple guy friends from the past and currently that are with these girls that a fake. And/or the guy friend just isn't into it. Even though the guy knows that, they still stay with that girl. And that ladies and gentlemen is why I think men suck. Grow a pair and end the relationship and have some fuckin' respect for yourself and that woman. And don't ya'll worry, I have said this to them.
I think I have such a hard time with all of this, because I think "how can you have such disrespect for yourself". Not only from the last paragraph but in general. To keep yourself from finding that once in a lifetime love.
Are there actually men out there who are decent looking, nice, fun, adventurous, SINGLE, and ready for a relationship and knows how to treat a woman? And can acknowledge that she adds to his life and doesn't take away from it?
